In the 19th century the theory of modern iridology was first outlined by a Hungarian doctor, Ignatz von Peczely whom as a child was trying to release a trapped owl which broke its leg on release.
He instantly noticed in the eye of the owl a dark mark which turned to white as the leg healed.
When von Peczely became a doctor he dedicated his career to charting patients diseases from markings in the iris. Doctor Bernard Jensen and Joseph Angerer both have constructed charts for iris diagnosis that are used by all Naturopaths today.
Your iris contains thousands of nerve endings and is linked to every organ and tissue in the body. Neuro-optic reflexes react to disorders or weaknesses in the body which leaves a marking or discoloration in the related part of the iris. It is possible to note genetic traits, system or organ dysfunction, allergies, stress and many other things simply by viewing the iris and sclera.
Our Naturopath Carla can use the Iriscope to capture the image of your iris and review it in detail on the computer screen, which you too will be able to see.
