Living Nature was born out of founder, Suzanne Hall's love of New Zealand plants and a desire to provide a chemical free, healthy and holistic skin and body care. From the world's most remote nation, comes one of the world's most natural skincare ranges.

New Zealand consists of 3 islands in the southern Pacific Ocean, south east of Australia.  Once part of the ancient southern landmass, Gondwana, New Zealand has been isolated from the rest of the world for over 80 million years, in which time a unique flora has evolved - with over 80% of New Zealand's plants being found nowhere else in the world.  It is these rare plants that form the basis of our exceptional skincare, personal care and cosmetic collections.

All plants produce a variety of bioactive molecules to protect themselves from stresses such as insect and bacterial attack, and dehydration caused by drought, heat and frost.  We capture these concentrated bioactive molecules, and they provide the active ingredients of our skincare products - protecting and nurturing the skin exactly the way that nature intended.

As the world has become increasingly fast-paced and artificial, we find ourselves moving further and further away from nature, creating a growing imbalance between our bodies and the environment.  At Living Nature, we strive to bring you naturally beautiful skin while contributing to the future protection of our natural world, through the careful selection of ethical, sustainable beauty products - made of New Zealand.

As one of the world's first companies to produce skincare without the use of synthetic preservatives or parabens, Living Nature is, quite simply, passionate about nature.  Our products work naturally to protect, nurture and enhance your skin, without any adverse chemical side effects.  None of our ingredients are genetically modified and, other than beeswax and honey, we don't use any ingredients derived from animals.  Nor do we believe in, or support, animal testing.  We use simple, recyclable packaging and our inks and papers are dioxin and chlorine free.  And, perhaps most important of all, our products undergo rigorous scientific testing to assess their purity, safety and efficacy.

Manuka honey has long been known for its healing and hydrating properties, together with pure manuka oil, which is anti bacterial and anti fungal, these together with 30 other plant based ingredients make up this extensive range of skin and body care.

On our ingredient list you will not find mineral oils, Parabens, alcohol or any other synthetic or toxic substance, just 100% plant based products, so we can refer to our range as SKIN FOOD.

Living Nature's new range of colour cosmetics are formulated with natural ingredients, allowing you to enhance your natural beauty with products that are gentle and care for your skin.
